The Art of Beauty

So I had recently purchased two magazines, V magazine, and Factory magazine - both of which I have never bought before. Usually I am a slave to Harper's Bazaar (American and UK), Elle (American and UK), Glamour (UK), and the occasional Vogue.

But I was pleasantly surprised! The creativity the editors put into Factory magazine was very impressive, note in the pictures the amazing eyeshadow spread and the fabulous Marc Jacobs jacket!

And then another magazine I don't typically buy is V magazine, but when I walked past it I just felt this massive need to buy it, Jane Fonda looks breathtaking on the cover and again while flipping through the pages the work and beauty of the spreads just screams out "buy me!"

And I am very happy I did!

On one of the pages they have this huge accesories spread and that is where I found two pairs of shoes by 'Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere'

A little backround on Nicolas:

• Born in France 1971
• Was a design assistant to Jean Paul Gaultier from 1991-1993
• Appointed creative director for Balenciaga in 1997
• In 2001 he won the CFDA "International Designer" award
• And in 2010 he won the "Superstar Award" from the Fashion Group international in New York
